Band Application

The 2023 Battle of the Bands and Food Vans is back again for year five and we’re looking to make this the best one yet!

The event will be held on September 2, 2023. Bands will start on the hour from 12PM until 8PM!

We will select nine bands!

This year, we’re paying every band $300 and provide for up to five meals for bandmembers (from the Battle competitors) to show up and play a 40-minute set. Sound is provided. A static backline professional acoustic drum kit is provided. We are taking applications and announce the lineup no later than May 31, 2023 if your band has been selected and what time slot you’ll play!

IN ADDITION to the flat $300 we are paying bands and the food allowance for playing, your band will have the chance to win the grand prize of $500, second prize of $300, and third prize of $200! Individual bandmates can win $100 gift certificates to Majestic Music (best singer, guitar player, etc)!

Your band’s application will be evaluated and selected based on event needs.
