Believe it or not, we've seen some truly beautiful Farmers' Market posters out there, and so we thought it would only be fair to showcase the amazing talent we have here in the White Mountains by having our own poster contest! Winner will have their winning image immortalized in the official 2010 Show Low Main Street Farmers' Market & Art Walk commemorative poster. Since this is the very first season of the Market, these posters may well become some sort of collector's item! See the "Contest Entry" page here on the website to request an entry form and/or more information!

So we're still working on getting the best, most affordable insurance protection available for our vendors. Luckily one of our business sponsors--Jill Tinkel of State Farm Insurance--is an insurance agent, and our first quote for artists, craftspeople, and food producers (salsa, fudge, etc.) can be as low as a mere $19 per month! Depends on what you have to insure and other variables, but that's a great rate for a million bucks worth of coverage! We're still working on getting our growers covered because they fall under a different category, but Jill's hard at work on getting them taken care of, too. We'll keep you posted!
Wow--it's been a whirlwind of activity so far for the Sponsored Vendor Contest! If you're planning on entering, be sure to do so before Monday! Winners will be announced no later than Friday, March 19th, so watch this space!
